Our client is seeking a Clinical Supervisor, Children's Behavioral Health to join their growing team. The Clinical Supervisor provides clinical supervision of assigned staff, provides client care, and manages the planning, development, and coordination of the assigned program. 
Job Duties

  • Provide clinical supervision per program guidelines and licensure requirements to staff. 
  • Monitor staff caseloads and provide teaching/coaching, ensuring productivity standards. 
  • Establish development/education plans with assigned staff and ensure implementation. 
  • Facilitate recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of program staff and/or practicum students.
  • Provide direct client care based on program guidelines and need. 
  • Complete Initial Diagnostic Interviews and assessments based on program needs.
  • Develop and facilitate therapeutic/educational groups according to program guidelines.
  • Provide back-up and on-call crisis assistance to clients and staff as needed. 
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of area resources to support client wellness/recovery.
  • Achieve successful program implementation as evidenced by client outcomes, client satisfaction surveys, and stakeholder feedback. 
  • Ensure model fidelity, compliance with regulations, and implementation of best practices. 
  • Develop and maintain program plans, procedures, and logic models. 
  • Collaborate with Finance, Billing, and Development teams for program fiscal sustainability. 
  • Participate in program marketing activities.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with program partners and stakeholders. 
  • Attend local, regional, and statewide staff meetings for supervision and program planning. 
  • Maintain accurate, written clinical records of services provided per established agency, COA, HIPAA, and CCBHC standards. Complete documentation within established timeframes per program plan, including collecting signatures, forms, sign-off, discharge, etc.
  • Develop a positive relationship with area agencies, including but not limited to, County Boards of Mental Health, Probation, Diversion, State Criminal Justice System, and DHHS. 
  • Assist in the promotion of agency mission, services, workshops, and classes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Skills to work with individuals possessing a variety of behavioral health, including persons of diverse backgrounds, and the ability to integrate cultural considerations into service delivery. 
  • Ability to document concurrently using electronic software or willingness to learn. 
  • Participate in peer review, clinical supervision, continuous improvement activities, etc.
  • Regular and predictable attendance, and promptness for work.

Education and Experience

  • Master’s degree in the Human Service field from an accredited college required. 
  • Licensed to practice mental health in Nebraska (LIMHP or LICSW) is required.
  • LADC is preferred.
  • Two years of behavioral health experience 
  • Two years’ experience providing clinical training, supervision, and program development.
  • Experience in the practice of EMDR preferred.
  • Knowledge of best practice standards for the treatment of traumatized persons and groups.
  • Knowledge of program development and building relationships in the service community.
  • Valid driver’s license, proof of liability insurance, and ability to drive for agency business.
