40 hrs/wk 8a-4:30p 5 days/wk. Responsible for assessing learning needs; implementing effective educational offerings; maintenance of current learning resources and evaluation of outcomes; coordination of and assistance in/teaching educational offerings. May assist the development of education calendar; programs including AHA classes, hospital orientation, nurse and CNA orientation; support preceptor and mentorship programs, nurse residency, annual competency plans, in services, mock drills, sim lab, learning management system, achieve and maintain appropriate certifications. Current NE RN license. BSN required, MSN preferred; certifications per department requirement; three years nursing experience required.
