Overview:

40 hrs/wk, 5day/wk.  Responsible for directing athletic and sports performance, health and fitness, and injury prevention programs for the hospital’s Columbus Sports Performance Center at the Fieldhouse. Provides strength, speed, agility and conditioning programs to athletes of all levels, ages and goals for health, wellness, fitness and competition. Programs include team and club training, personal/individual, tactical and high performance groups for multiple schools, clubs/organizations and employers in our community. Bachelor’s degree in Exercise or Sport Science, Kinesiology or related field; Master’s degree preferred. Certification or working toward certification in strength and conditioning from CSCCA, NASM or NSCA; required within 1 year of employment. Extensive sport specific knowledge and teaching experience required.
