Emergency Medicine Physician Locums Job in Iowa Assignment

Shift description:
Days per month: 4-12 shifts per month
Shifts: 6:30a-2:30p, 1:30p-10:30p, 9:30p-6:30a

Details/Requirements:
Board Certified, Board Eligible
Iowa License Highly Preferred or IMLC
Other Certifications ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
Malpractice Clean Preferred
Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days
Duties: Routine ER duties, Codes, ER locums do not have a lot of Trauma responsibilities
EMR: EPIC
Support Staff: 12-20 hours of APP Coverage, easy transfer center process
Experience: Actively practicing as an Emergency Medicine Physician for the last 12 months or completion of an Emergency Medicine Residency in the last 6 months
Annual volume: 22,000 per year, 77% Discharge, 14% Admissions, 4% LBTC, 2.8% Observation, 2.5% transfer
