Job Description

Job Title: Coding Auditor - Hospital
Contract Duration: 33-34 weeks
Onsite/Remote/Hybrid: Fully Remote
Must Haves:

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• One of the following certifications:
  • CCA (AHIMA)
  • CCS-P (AHIMA)
  • COC (AAPC)
  • CPC (AAPC)
  • RHIA (AHIMA)
  • RHIT (AHIMA)

Preferred:

• Experience in hospital coding audits
• Familiarity with compliance and documentation standards

Job Description:
Performs periodic and ongoing audits of claims to ensure accuracy of coding and billing, and sufficiency of supporting documentation. Responsibilities include preparing audit reports, developing corrective action plans, identifying trends, and delivering educational programs. Supports the management of the coding and billing auditing program to address high-risk compliance areas. Performs other duties as assigned
