The Conference Administrative Assistant is a shared position that provides direct administrative support to the Administrative Services department and support for the Conference Connectional Ministries Council. This position is responsible for providing hospitality to guests and assists in coordinating building maintenance. In addition, this position assists with a variety of duties such as vouchering of bills, scanning documents, assisting in the cash receipts process, collaborating and coordinating the Annual Conference Session, and providing essential support for the Unified Grant process.

Scan A/P Vouchers, Check Stubs, Journal Batches, and Cash Receipts into eBridge system

Answer Conference Center phone calls and route to the appropriate person

Monitor front door for deliveries and visitors, Greet guests

Assist co-workers with questions, Assist with meeting requests, Gather RSVPs for meetings

Assist with the Annual Audit

Create vouchers for incoming bills, Create new vendors as needed, and Maintain vendor system

Basic knowledge of accounting principles and accounting/bookkeeping skills

Education/Experience:
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Previous administrative support work experience of at least one year
Preferred
Associates Degree in a related field
